After cooking your meat on both sides, simply insert the blade of your Grill-Per’fect into your steak, hamburger, or other red meat, being careful not to push the tip of the blade into the open flames of a barbecue. Wait 3-5 seconds and remove. Quickly observe the sensor – the appropriate colors will reveal to indicate the doneness you prefer for your meat. After a few seconds, the color will revert to black so that you may re-use the sensor – to again check for doneness of this steak or any other steak being cooked.
