After cooking your meat on both sides, simply insert the blade of your Grill-Perfect into your steak, hamburger, or other red meat, being careful not to push the tip of the blade into the open flames of a barbecue. Wait 3-5 seconds and remove. Quickly observe the sensor the appropriate colors will reveal to indicate the doneness you prefer for your meat. After a few seconds, the color will revert to black so that you may re-use the sensor to again check for doneness of this steak or any other steak being cooked.
